// Smorgasbord #9
It’s about time again for another Smorgasbord. It’s been a while since I last posted a collection of bits and pieces that made me happy or smile or just thinking. But with the snowy weekend ahead there is no excuse for not doing it today.
I celebrated my birthday a few days ago and inevitably started to think about time. What’s ahead of me, what lies behind, how fast will I go, how slow should I take it? And even though there is no way of catching or stopping time, there are several ways of spending it.
My favourite ones include laughing with friends, good food, music, a room full of books and fun with fashion. All of it I intensely enjoyed over the last weeks and every day I can only be grateful for being surrounded by the people and things I love. Sometimes though, it’s just about remembering the times and take a trip down memory lane. In the end, it doesn’t matter how you spend your time, just make sure to never hold back and do what makes you happy.
Keep up with the times. Like mother like daughter.
Kill time at Campers bank of imagination.
What a classy countdown.
A beautiful online time-waster by T Magazine. Greg Kesslers Model Morphosis.
Interesting article about watching TV in your own pace. The Wire marathon is on.
Another diverting way to kill time.
Icy times in Chicago. Reminded me of the blizzard I got in back in 1994, when I went to high school near Windy City.
Not really a timeless shoe.
Almost forgot about it. Baz Luhrmann’ everybody is free to wear sunscreen. Based on Mary Schmichs article Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young from 1997
7100 photos, 730 hours – one compilation of flowers.
I first saw that video almost three years ago and still can watch it over and over again.
